Scope
Our clients wanted to expand their house with a second story addition in order to add two bedrooms, a bathroom, children’s playroom and new laundry. The wall between the kitchen and family room was removed to create one large room. This required two steel beams be installed utilizing a crane to reach over the existing first floor. The kitchen and a storage room on the rear of the house were demolished and remodeled with a new kitchen, island and sitting area where the storage room was once located. Also added was a new front porch with an arched entry.
